GLOBAL SCUBA, formed in 1995, was conceptualized around the
idea
of providing
world class diving education, excursion and
services at a very professional yet personal, safe and fun way.
Having combined
experiences of more than 20 odd years, GLOBAL SCUBA’s two core
directors have gone through all the ‘pains’ in overcoming logistical
and operational obstacles to provide ‘better than the best’ services
to students, divers and resort operators. Thus, GLOBAL SCUBA is a
PADI 5 Star Dive Centre.
GLOBAL SCUBA has managed, successfully, two resort diving operations in Pulau Gemia and Pulau Redang in the past.
GLOBAL SCUBA has also
received the PADI ASIA PACIFIC-INDUSTRY RECOGNITION AWARD for
OUTSTANDING COMMITMENT TO THE PADI SYSTEM OF EDUCATION in 2002
and 2003.
GLOBAL SCUBA is a
renowned and authorized distributor and technical support for diving
equipment brands of TUSA and SHERWOOD SCUBA. GLOBAL SCUBA is also
authorized to service a variety of other brands of diving equipment
as well.
GLOBAL SCUBA supports PADI’s PROJECT AWARE organization by organizing annual clean-up and marine ecology awareness programs. GLOBAL SCUBA feels that this is important as there would be a disastrous impact if pollution persists.

Fondly known by the diving community as 'Uncle Boo', Boo has been in the diving industry for more than 10 years. Also one of the founders of GLOBAL SCUBA, Boo's original vocation was in the finance industry, an accountant for corporations such as Hong Leong Banking and KAB-Construction before discovering the underwater world.
